Double Vibes Cd Release

Double Vibes, whose name comes from the fusion of two words double bass and vibes (diminutive of vibraphone), repaints in an intimate and innovative key some of the most beautiful masterpieces of the American songbook.

The aim of the Duo is to drow up the frenetic jazz rhythm with a melodic research typical of the Italian culture in order to create a harmony of iridescent colours and emotions thanks to the refined combination of two unique instruments.

The amazing saxophonist Marco Ferri plays as a special guest in the swinging remake of the song “East of the Sun”: his tenor sax fits very well between the harmonic textures of the vibraphone and the double bass.

The Cd also reserves one final surprise, a gift for the duo’s supporters… a beautiful ghost track.
